Started racing Go Karts at Sugar Hill Speedway were he was track champion 4 times between 1999 and 2003.

Started racing cars in August of 2003. 
 
2004 his first full season racing cars, Adam finished 3rd in points and took home rookie of the year honors in the Super Street Division at Canaan Speedway. 
  
2005 Adam ran a full season in the Late Model division at Twin State Speedway where he had 1 win, 6 top 5, and 16 top ten finishes. This landed him rookie of the year honors and gave him a 5th place points position. 
 
2006 Adam was dominant in the late model division winning 7 races.  In only his second season in the division he was in the race for the points championship all season long until late in the season when bad luck and mechanical failures dropped him out of the running.  He finished the season 3rd in points with more wins than any other driver in the division.

2007 Adam competed in his first year with PASS. He finished with two top fives, nine top tens and Eighth in points. That year Adam received the Hard Luck award.

2008 Adam improved to two wins, eight top fives, eleven top tens and finished the season out in Fourth place. That year Adam received the Most Improved Driver Award.
