Adams Race Recap from Scotia Speedway.

After a long week of repairs and with an entirely new front end on the car, everyone headed north to Halifax, Nova Scotia.  The team had high hopes, but didn’t really know what to expect with such little time to prepare for the trip.

Friday afternoon when Adam got onto the track for practice, all of the team’s hard work paid off.  The car handled great and not many changes were needed for qualifying.  In the heat race lady luck wasn’t on Adam’s side, with two laps to go while running third one of the axles broke, which resulted in a last place finish.  As soon as the car was pushed in the crew was hard at work and had the axle replaced in time for the feature.

From the seventeenth starting position in the feature race, Adam started making his way to the front.  With the help of a great pit stop he was in the top five before half way.  After fighting off many strong competitors Adam was able to finish in fifth.  The team is now busy getting ready for the biggest money race of the year, the Toyota Tundra 250 at Wiscasset Raceway this weekend.
