Adams Race Recap from Toyota Tundra at Wiscasset Raceway.

With the large purse one their minds, the crew headed to Wiscasset for the Toyota Tundra 250 with big hopes.  Saturday’s practice all went well and Adam was very happy with the way his car was handling.  When Sunday came it brought along some warmer weather, which made the handling of the car go away.  The crew made the right adjustments to be up to speed for race time.

With 48 cars that showed up to make the feature event the heat race was going to be crucial.  Adam finished third in his heat which got him into the race and also gave him a good starting position towards the front of the field.  Adam started working his way towards the front, but still managing to save his equipment.  Around half way, when it was time to come in for tires he was running in the top three.  The crew gave Adam a great pit stop and got him right back out onto the track.  Adam was back up in the front with about 50 laps to go when the cars with fresher tires started moving up.  He did all he could do to hold them off and managed to come across the finish line in the  sixth position.

The team now has a few weeks to relax take some time off.  Their next stop will be at White Mountain and they are expecting  to run much better than their previous visit to that track.
