Unity Demolition Derby

The bad luck streak was back this weekend at Unity Raceway.  All day Adam was running great, the car was fast through practice, actually faster than the race winner.  He scored a third place finish in his heat race, which put him in twelfth for the start of the race.  On the first lap of the race, the eventual race winner caused a big wreck and caused heavy damage to much of the field.

Unfortunately Adam had no where to go and was tangled up in the accident, which in turn tore off his left front fender and knocked out the toe of the front end.  For the rest of the race Adam did his best to stay on the lead lap and stay out of trouble.  He came across the finish line in the eleventh position.

Adam and the team have this coming week\end off, but will return next week at Seekonk to try and regain the top spot in the point battle.
